About Me

Hi, my name is Donald Weinberger, and I am a senior at Culbertson High School. When I first went to Culbertson i was in 3rd grade and I was scared. And when I first met my classmates I got to know them and they were really nice to me. Then I started to hang out with them and we started to play basketball together. When I first met my basketball coach, he was really cool and his name is Cody Steppler. He sits in a wheelchair and coaches us. He is a really good friend.
Then when we played our first game we were really good. When I got to play I always liked to shoot my pop shot's and that's when my teammates started to call me pop shot or big D. And every year for basketball it is always fun sometimes we will play games or we will play a game of  21 after practice . Then I am always tired  when I get home i will eat my dinner or just go to bed. And sometimes we will have practice in the morning at 6:00am.

I live in Poplar Montana, and I live out in the East end. I have two sisters, and their names are Hannah and Gabby. I also have one brother and his name is Hab. He is pretty cool sometimes but some days we will fight or just not talk to each other. And I will ask him for some money to buy a bag of jerky or half and half Iced Tea and Lemonade.  My parents are Waynette and Donnie Weinberger. My mom works at the Fort Peck video store on main street and my dad works for Frank Gourneau Construction .He drives a semi with a 600 cat motor and the truck can go pretty fast. I work with my Dad and when i work it is fun.

When I was growing up in Poplar it was really nice and there were fewer people until 2006. Poplar just got really big, people were starting to sell drugs, and kids were drinking alcohol at the age of 15. Then there were teenage girls getting pregnant at the age of 14 and the kids here now are really bad. One kid started a gang and other kids joined them  and pretty soon you would see a bunch of kids walking around in different colors. Then the kids would  say a bunch of stuff that would try to scare you. But they all know that if they try to fight you they will be in groups because they’re scared  of taking you one on one. One thing is that most of the kids drop out of high school at the age of 16 and they start drinking or they end up in jail and some of them stay in for a long time. Then some kids would end up back on the street and selling drugs.
